End of Series 3 – Note from Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick

Thanks for watching The Supervet! We have many exciting things happening while the show is not on air so we would be delighted if you wanted to continue on the journey with us! You can follow us on Facebook or Twitter to have all the latest news as and when it happens.

Noel’s special message of thanks

So we are at the end of another series of The Supervet. Thank you so much to all of you for watching. It means a great deal to me, to my work colleagues and to families everywhere that love animals, that you support us, that you cheer us on, that you believe what we believe – that every animal on earth deserves a fair deal – and that every companion animal that gives us so much love deserves love back. We aim to give all of the animals all of the options all of the time, we aim to hold your hand or your paw in life or in death until dog, cat or rabbit do us part. We aim to hug you when you are down and lift you up when you live to tell the tale.

For me the programme represents the very best of the human condition, it highlights our moral responsibility for animals and our responsibility to move medicine forward in animals and in humans at the same time (One Medicine).

We make the programme for you personally no matter where you live, what you do for a living or what your environment is like – because I know that for you – deep in your heart – just like for me – we have one common thread – the thread of  hope and of faith that keeps us alive as shown in our love for our companion animals.

It is my honour to know you through the screen into your home and heart and I hope that these stories of hope and redemption through love and medicine have meant as much to you watching as they have to us living through them.

For as Dr Seuss says in his wonderful book the Lorax –

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

Bring on the change, bring on the respect, bring on the love, bring on the future of One Medicine and bring on the family values that make us who and what we are, making the world a better place, one animal at a time.

Till next time…
